Quest for Cognizance

You can't tell me Florida deserves to be in the title game. Yes they are tied with Michigan in the computer polls, and won the the 2 human polls by a TOTAL of 10/1000's of a point. BCS voting is simple: a popularity contests. It must have been nice to have two weeks gaining points and compaigning politcally while U of M could only sit idle.

Fact: Florida was ranked #2 on October 8th and promptly lost to an unranked Auburn by 10 points.

Fact: Michigan was ranked #2 for 8 weeks, and then lost to #1 Ohio St. by only 3 points.

Fact: Urban Meyer, Florida coach - and fan for change to a play-off system - suddenly bites his tongue and feels Michigan "...had their shot." SINCE WHEN DOES "HAVING YOUR SHOT" MAKE ANY FRIGGING DIFFERENCE TO RATINGS AND STANDINGS...!?!?

Time for a play-off system. Screw the BCS.

Well... Maybe Bo's out there somewhere and has aligned the planets to put his team in the only bowl game he ever strived for. We'll just have to take it out on USC in Pasadena.
