I'm a 24 hour news channel addict.

I, again, am going to have to stop watching 24 hour news channels for an undetermined amount of time.

I really don't consider myself a "fair weather" 24 hour news channel watcher by any stretch of the imagination.

It's just time to step away and play an ostrich for a little bit.

If you have ever had a question as to what kind of music program they run at MSU, just get tickets to the annual Spartan Spectacular and you'll get your answer.

Last night Annie, my parents and I attended the show at a sold out Wharton Center. This performance happened to be my second, the first coming a number of years back in high school.

I had completely forgottent the show had two halves separated by an intermission. The first consisting of ensembles like the MSU Wind Symphony, The Sunny Wilikinson Quartet, and the Beaumont Brass. Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT music, musicians, and fun.

But there's a reason I didn't remember the first half of the show...

Enter the MSU Spartan Drumline who spent nearly twenty minutes rattling the rivets out of the building which only set the stage for the 300 member Marching Band to kick-step down the aisles and completely blow the roof off the place.

Rock stars. All of them.
